JLL appoints Yao Morin to new CTO role

JLL has appointed Yao Morin to the newly created role of chief technology officer (CTO).

She previously served as JLL’s chief data officer from 2020, leading the business line's approach to gathering, extracting, storing and leveraging data assets across all JLL businesses to develop new value for investors, occupiers and the broader JLL organization.

As CTO, Morin will lead JLL's global technology development strategy and delivery and will oversee the newly centralized engineering group within JLL Technologies (JLLT), the technology division of JLL.

Morin and her team at JLLT are working on projects that incorporate the use of data and technology to reduce energy consumption and make the building lifecycle more sustainable — from construction to building operations.
