Jeffrey Beckham joins GID

Jeffrey Beckham is joining GID Investment Advisers as its executive vice president, portfolio management, and a member of the firm’s executive committee and of its various investment committees.

Beckham will oversee portfolio management, investor relations, strategy and research, and new product development. GID could not be reached for comment on the new hire.

Beckham has worked at Jamestown since 2010. Most recently, he was a managing director, head of institutional investment management and fund manager of the Premier Property Fund of Jamestown. Beckham oversaw all institutional investor products at Jamestown, which includes serving as fund manager and investment committee member for Jamestown’s open-end core-plus investment vehicle, the Premier Property Fund, and serving on the investment committees for Jamestown’s Latin America investment fund and open-end Timberland Fund.
