Jason Leong becomes deputy fund manager of M&G Real Estate’s Asia Property Fund

Jason Leong has joined M&G Real Estate as deputy fund manager of its M&G Asia Property Fund, the oldest and largest open-ended core fund in the region.

Leong brings more than 25 years of real estate investment and management experience in key Asia Pacific markets, including Australia, Japan and Singapore, and worked for various multinational organizations. Most recently he was group executive and head of investment management at Investa in Sydney. He was responsible for the group’s fund management, separate mandates and asset management businesses. During his 11 years at Investa, he managed the flagship core wholesale office fund from 2016 to 2020. He also completed several key transactions, including 60 Martin Place, a premium office development in Sydney, and executed Australia’s first green loan and Australia’s second green bond. Leong previously held senior positions at LaSalle Investment Management and New City Corp.
