Ivanhoé Cambridge acquires Cap Ampère office asset in Paris

by Andrea Zander

Ivanhoé Cambridge, the C$60 billion ($45 billion) real estate investment arm of Quebec’s sovereign fund Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, has acquired a 90,000-square-meter (969,000-square-foot) office-building campus in France from Natixis.

Financial details were undisclosed.

The Cap Ampère in Saint-Denis campus consists of four connected buildings.

The asset is occupied by EDF, which has signed a nine-year, fixed-term lease.

“Following the recent deals of HUB 247 in Nanterre and the Tours DUO in Paris, this transaction once again illustrates Ivanhoé Cambridge’s European expertise and strategy of investing in projects with high-growth potential in urban areas currently undergoing regeneration,” said Karim Habra, the head of Europe, Ivanhoé Cambridge.
