Iron Point Partners raises $118m for real estate fund

Iron Point Partners, an investment adviser based in Washington, D.C., has raised $117.7 million for its fourth real estate fund, Iron Point Real Estate Partners IV, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

Iron Point Partners manages a series of real estate private equity funds formed to invest in opportunistic real estate transactions throughout the United States and North America.

The fund’s predecessor, Iron Point Real Estate Partners III, held a $750 million final close in August, exceeding its $450 million target. The fund closed after three months of fundraising.

Iron Point Partners has raised more than $2 billion of capital through its Iron Point funds.
