Iron Point Partners launches real estate fund

Iron Point Partners, a Washington D.C.- based investment adviser, has launched its next real estate fund, Iron Point Real Estate Partners IV, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

The new closed-end Iron Point Real Estate Partners IV fund will invest in properties throughout the United States and Canada. According to the SEC filing, the fund has raised $61 million in equity commitments so far. A fundraising target was not disclosed.

The fund’s predecessor, Iron Point Real Estate Partners III, held a $750 million final close in August, exceeding its $450 million target. The fund closed after three months of fundraising.

Iron Point Partners has raised more than $2 billion of capital through its Iron Point funds.
