Interim executive director selected for Illinois Police Officers’ Pension Investment Fund

The Illinois Police Officers’ Pension Investment Fund (IPPIF) has appointed Richard White as interim executive director.

White brings 42 years of experience in law enforcement and public retirement systems to the role, according to The Telegraph. The selection was made by the fund’s election committee on June 5.

The Illinois Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund was created by a law signed in December, 2019 by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, consolidating the investment assets of 353 downstate and suburban police pension plans into one statewide investment pool with an estimated size of $8.7 billion, according to White’s LinkedIn page.

White will serve successive one-year terms as interim executive director until a permanent executive director is selected, according to The Telegraph.
