The $30 billion Indiana Public Retirement System has chosen BlackRock as a REIT manager. The pension fund awarded a $100 million mandate to BlackRock to invest in industrial-only real estate securities.
Indiana’s real estate portfolio is 6.4 percent of its total assets. Its real estate target allocation is 7 percent.
