Indiana pension commits $22m to Blackstone

Blackstone BioMed Life Science Real Estate, a perpetual life sciences fund managed by Blackstone, has added a $22 million investment from the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS), IREI has learned.

The pension fund could not be reached to comment on its investment activity. INPRS joins the New Mexico State Investment Council as an investor, which also committed up to $50 million to Blackstone’s life science fund in December.

As of late October 2020, Blackstone BioMed Life Science Real Estate had collected $7.5 billion in capital commitments.
