The Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Illinois has issued two formal RFPs seeking firms to provide consulting services designed to help the pension fund make prudent investment management decisions.
One RFP is for a firm to provide general investment consulting services covering all asset classes. The pension fund’s current general investment consultant is RVK, Inc. RVK is allowed to submit a proposal for this RFP. All proposals for the general consulting RFP must be submitted in writing by March 9.
The second RFP is for consulting services on decisions within the pension fund’s Diversifying Strategies portfolio. The Illinois TRS’ current Diversifying Strategies consultant is Albourne America. Albourne is allowed to submit a proposal for this RFP. All proposals for the diversifying strategies RFP must be submitted in writing by March 8.
