The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) has approved a $100 million commitment to CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 9, according to a recent investment document.
CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 9 is a value-add real estate fund managed by CBRE Global Investors. The fund is seeking to raise $2 billion and will invest in institutional multifamily, office and retail properties in the United States.
Other recent pension fund investors in the fund include the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, the Montana Board of Investments and the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.
