Illinois Municipal commits $25m to real estate
The $35.6 billion Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund has committed $25 million to LaSalle Income & Growth Fund VII, according to recent meeting documents.
The value-added real estate fund, managed by LaSalle Investment Management, is seeking to raise $750 million. Earlier this year, the fund received a commitment from the Hawaii Employees’ Retirement System.
IMRF previously committed $20 million to LaSalle Income & Growth Fund VI in 2012.
