Matt Hershey is joining NextEnergy Capital as senior investor relations consultant, the company announced on LinkedIn.
“Building capabilities is central to NextEnergy Group’s long-term strategy, and this appointment reflects our continued focus on strengthening our platform,” the company stated in the post.
Hershey brings three decades of global experience in alternative investments, deep expertise in scaling businesses and teams, and a proven track record of raising capital. He was previously at Hodes Weill & Associates for more than 13 years, starting as a principal before moving into the roles of managing director and then partner.
Earlier in his career, he was a senior vice president at Brookfield Asset Management, and before that, he worked as a senior director at Tishman Speyer.
