Hodes Weill & Associates, a global advisory firm focused on the real estate and real assets investment and funds management industry, has appointed Michael Mendelsohn as principal, responsible for covering institutional investors and consultants in North America.
Mendelsohn most recently served as a principal at Blackstone, where he spent the past decade focused on expanding the firm’s distribution footprint. According to Hodes Weill, at Blackstone, his primary responsibilities included business development, capital raising, and client engagement for Blackstone’s private and public funds.
Mendelsohn began his career at Citigroup Alternative Investments, where he served in a variety of capacities, including institutional investor relations and fund management for the firm’s private equity and real estate businesses.
