HighBrook Investment Management, a New York–based real estate private equity firm, has opened its next income property fund to investors, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.
The new fund, HighBrook Income Property Fund III, has raised $33.5 million, according to the filing. The value-added/opportunistic real estate fund will invest in debt secured by U.S. properties, mainly in the office sector. The filing did no disclose a target fundraising amount.
The fund’s predecessor, HighBrook Income Property Fund II, held a $308 million final close in March 2015. Both funds are successors to the HighBrook Income Property Fund, which held a final close in October 2012 with more than $230 million of commitments.
