HighBrook Investors has appointed Claiborne Johnston as partner and global head of private capital markets.
Most recently, he served as a managing director within Morgan Stanley’s real assets investment management business, where he was responsible for sourcing equity capital for real estate, private infrastructure and private debt strategies. He began his career at Morgan Stanley and spent more than a decade in the firm’s real estate investment banking group, where he focused on private capital solutions for a variety of real estate private equity sponsors both public and private.
In the newly created position, Johnston will lead HighBrook’s fundraising, capital formation and investor relations efforts, supporting the firm’s continued growth across the United States and Europe.
