HANSAINVEST Real Assets has sold the KONE Building in Keilaniemi, one of the most established office areas in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

The property was divested in a structured bidding process. The office building was purchased by the Finnish Evli Rental Yield Fund (AIF) managed by Evli Fund Management Ltd. The property comprises a total leasable area of 7,148 square meters (77,000 square feet) and was built in the early 2000s for the listed KONE Corp., an elevator and escalator engineering and service companies. The property is fully leased. Nordanö Partners and Dittmar & Indrenius Attorneys advised the seller, while PwC acted as the legal counsel for the buyer on the transaction.

The building’s 18 floors and its height of 72 meters (236 feet) make the property one of the tallest office buildings in the country. The tall glass facade together with its waterfront location make the property a landmark building.
