Hamilton Point Investments sets $150m fundraising target for new apartment fund

Hamilton Point Investments (HPI), a real estate private equity investment company that owns and manages multifamily apartment properties, has opened a new value-added fund focused on acquiring apartment properties across the Eastern United States.

According to a recent filing with the SEC, the new fund — HPI Real Estate Fund X — is initially seeking to raise $150 million of equity commitments. The amount of the offering may be increased up to $200 million in the sole discretion of HPI.

The previous fund in the series, HPI Real Estate Fund IX, closed in March with $195 million of equity commitments, surpassing its target of $150 million.
