Principal Asset Management has appointed Guido Beddig as managing director, heading the asset management team in Europe. In this role he will strategically and operationally develop Principal Asset Management’s European platform focusing on real estate.
Beddig will assume responsibility for the asset management activities of the European portfolio. He will further develop the regional strategy and manage performance in line with corporate objectives and investor expectations. The focus will be on the active value creation of the portfolio, the integration of sustainability aspects, and close collaboration across national and team boundaries to further strengthen the European platform.
Beddig has more than 20 years of international experience in investment, asset, and property management. He has managed and strategically developed real estate portfolios across various asset classes through different market cycles – with a clear focus on institutional investors.
