GTIS Partners rebrands as Brightshore, launches real estate debt investment platform

GTIS Partners has rebranded as Brightshore Capital, marking a new chapter for the 21-year old real estate investment firm following its transition to 100 percent ownership by the firm's partners. The firm also announced the launch of Brightshore Credit, a real estate debt investment platform anchored with a $250 million investment that will focus on origination and investment in high-yield credit including stretch senior and mezzanine financings, preferred equity and B-notes.

Brightshore manages $5.6 billion in gross assets, with a focus on residential and industrial investments in the US; and residential, industrial, office and hospitality investments in Brazil. The firm was founded in 2005 and the new name follows the 2025 buyout of its minority investment partner's interest and reflects Brightshore's evolution as a fully partner-owned investment firm.
