Grosvenor to build six residential towers, among largest rental housing schemes in Vancouver

Grosvenor has just unveiled its master plan for a pedestrian-focused development that will include one of the largest rental housing schemes in Metro Vancouver.

The proposed development has just been approved by the City of Burnaby to move forward to consultation and is poised to transform an eight-acre site into a thriving, sustainable mixed-use community with approximately 3,500 new homes, including 2,450 rental homes, a new urban, multi-story community center and approximately 200,000 square feet of commercial space on transit.

The development, for which Grosvenor is currently seeking co-investment equity partners and construction financing, takes an innovative approach to design and operations and aims to be a model for future large-scale, pedestrian-focused, transit-oriented rental developments.
