GreenOak, Slate pay $280m for Midtown NYC apartment tower
GreenOak Real Estate and Slate Property Group have purchased the Biltmore rental apartment tower in New York City’s Midtown for $280 million, according to The Real Deal.
The seller of the two-story, 464-unit tower was Jack Parker Corp.
The sale is part of Jack Parker Corp.’s plan to sell a majority of its New York City holdings, which was reported by The Real Deal in May 2018. The firm’s multifamily portfolio also includes Parker Towers, a three-building, 1,327-unit complex in Queens’ Forest Hills neighborhood, and the 291-unit high-end rental building Truffles Tribeca.
