Goodman is expanding its development workbook in Japan to more than $10 billion with its involvement in the development of a 70-hectare (173-acre) site for air cargo logistics space at Narita International Airport, to be completed in 2029.
The project, in partnership with Tako Town, the Narita International Airport Corporation, the Chiba Prefectural Government and Goodman Group, will streamline cargo operations in and out of the airport.
The project aligns with the planned completion of the airport's third runway in 2029, with Goodman chosen due to its extensive experience in developing large and complex projects in Japan, including Goodman Business Park Chiba, which is nearing completion. In addition, Goodman is finalizing plans for its master-planned estate in Tsukuba City and is progressing construction of the Goodman Joso project.
