GLP begins development of AI-ready data center campus in China

GLP has commenced development of a new hyperscale data center campus in Foshan, China, addressing growing demand for digital infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area. The first phase comprising 40 megawatts (MW) of IT capacity is now under way, with the campus planned to support up to 200 MW at full build-out. With planned investment of approximately RMB 4 billion ($595 million), the project is expected to rank among the largest data center projects in the Greater Bay Area. It is purpose-built for a leading internet and cloud services company, which is expanding its partnership with GLP.
