Gianluca Romano joins Catella as head of capital raising

Catella has appointed Gianluca Romano to the new role of head of capital raising.

Based in London, Romano will lead the firm’s institutional investor client relations and capital raising, and will also advise on product development. He has more than 25 years of consulting and investment management experience advising both institutional investors and investment managers in real estate.

Prior to Catella, Romano served as global head of indirect capital research in JLL’s London office. Prior to JLL, he was a partner of StepStone Real Estate and of Courtland Partners and also served as a portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds and at ABN AMRO.
