Get Living PLC has appointed Kate Freer as its new CEO, effective in fall 2026, following the announcement at the end of 2025 that long-standing CEO Rick de Blaby is leaving to pursue a non-executive career.
Freer served most recently for more than 11 years at Realstar, where she helped to build the U.K. multifamily platform and Uncle brand from the ground up, growing the portfolio to 28 assets and about 6,400 units, with a £2.6 billion ($3.5 billion) gross development value (GDV). She previously spent 10 years at Blackstone, working on operating platforms such as NHP Plc, Nido, Centerparcs, Logicor, MultiRetail and Chiswick Park.
