Effective first quarter 2014, Ted Burke will resign his role as CEO and global managing partner with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and join Boston-based Arclight Capital Partners as general counsel and COO. Burke is stepping down from Freshfields one year ahead of plan. David Aitman, currently the senior member of the Freshfields’ Partnership Council and co-chair of the partnership recommendation committee, will replace Burke.
