Former LaSalle CEO joins KKR as a senior adviser

by Kali Persall

Simon Marrison has joined KKR as a senior adviser after 19 years with LaSalle Investment Management, including 12 years as European CEO.

“KKR real estate has been active in Europe for many years, and I was attracted by the opportunity to work with a top-quality team who has built up an impressive investment track record,” said Marrison in an email. “I am dedicating a substantial amount of my time to KKR and amongst other things am focused on deal sourcing and business development.”

Marrison joined LaSalle in 2001, serving as the managing director of Continental Europe, according to his LinkedIn page. He then became co-head Europe and later CEO of Europe, before moving into his most recent role of executive chairman of Europe.

Prior to LaSalle, Marrison was at Rodamco Europe and was a partner and head of capital markets at Healey and Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield). Before that, he was an associate partner at Elliot Son & Boyton.
