Florida SBA unveils Carlyle, CBRE, Exeter commitments

The Florida State Board of Administration (SBA) has disclosed more than $280 million in new investments with three major real estate managers, according to a Q3 report.

The commitments include $100 million to Carlyle Realty Partners IX, managed by Carlyle Realty Partners; $100 million to CBRE Asia Value Partners VI (AVP VI), managed by CBRE Investment Management; and €75 million ($87 million) to Exeter European Logistics Value Fund IV, managed by Exeter Property Group.

Carlyle Realty Partners IX opened to investors in January with a $6 billion fundraising target. The fund invests exclusively in residential and commercial real estate in the United States, with a focus on multifamily, single-family rental, active-adult/age-restricted housing, life sciences office and industrial assets.
