Florida apartment portfolio sells for $240m

NorthEnd Equities and real estate investor Motti Schapira have acquired a 14-property multifamily portfolio totaling 2,384 units across Florida from Amzak Capital Management for $240 million.

The total portfolio spans from Jacksonville south to Sarasota, totaling 2 million square feet. Of the 14 properties, six are on the Gulf Coast, four in Tampa and one each in Sarasota and Lakeland.

The portfolio includes in Jacksonville, the 320-unit Kings Trail and the 173-unit Jacksonville Heights; in Tampa, the 264-unit Bella Mar, the 184-unit Timber Falls, the 160-unit Del Rio, and the 120-unit Lago Bell; in Winter Haven, the 81-unit Brandywyne, the 60-unit The Landings and the 18-unit Country Place; the 240-unit Rolling Hills in Orlando; the 376-unit Lakeland Manor in Lakeland; the 138-unit Tanglewood in Eustis; the 132-unit Mount Dora in Mount Dora; and the 119-unit North Washington in Sarasota.
