First State Super CEO to retire

Michael Dwyer, CEO of Sydney-based First State Super, an Australian superannuation fund, will retire at the end of November.

“When [Dwyer] was appointed CEO in 2004, First State Super had 450,000 members, A$9 billion [$6.8 billion] in funds under management. Today, First State Super is among the largest and most prominent superannuation funds in Australia managing more than A$90 billion [$68 billion] in retirement savings on behalf of 800,000 members and clients,” said Neil Cochrane, chairman of First State Super.
