First State Investments re-brands worldwide to First Sentier Investors

First State Investments is now operating worldwide under the new brand First Sentier Investors, effective today.

The Australian firm, which re-branded to First Sentier Investors in September 2019, announced in July that the re-brand would expand worldwide by the end of 2020. The name change has now become effective across all markets.

The name change follows the acquisition of First State Investments in August 2019 by Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUTB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc.
