Fireside Financial seeks $300m for fourth real estate fund

by Kali Persall

Illinois-based Fireside Financial is looking to raise $300 million for its newly-launched Real Estate Partners IV fund, according to a Form D filed on July 26 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

The private equity firm seeks multifamily, self-storage, office and mixed-use assets across the Midwest. It focuses on value-add assets with an equity requirement between $2 million and $15 million.

Fireside did not report any capital commitments to date for its fourth real estate fund in the SEC filing. The fund has a minimum investment requirement of $5 million.
