Tennessee-based Fairwood Capital has raised $197.5 million for its Fairwood Capital Real Estate Fund II, according to an SEC Form D filed on April 16. A total of 57 investors backed the vehicle, according to the filing.
Fairwood Capital Real Estate Fund II has added nearly $90 million since the first of the year, according to an SEC filing from January. The fund opened to investors on January 15 and had collected $108.9 million from 38 investors less than two weeks later.
The value-added fund will invest in properties in the United States. An equity fundraising target was not disclosed in either SEC filing.
