EXCLUSIVE — Electra America Hospitality Group closes hospitality fund with more than $500m of commitments

Electra America Hospitality Group, a joint venture between Electra America and AKA, has raised more than $500 million in a final close of its Electra America Hospitality Fund I (EAHG I), surpassing its target.

EAHG Fund I, launched in February 2021, will acquire independent hotels in major gateway markets with strong growth potential. It will follow an opportunistic strategy.

Commitments to the fund came from domestic and foreign institutional, and high-net-worth investors.

Electra America Hospitality Group already has deployed $100 million of capital in 2021 for the acquisition of several hotel seed assets in Manhattan, Virginia and Miami. EAHG said it continues to source opportunities in other major markets including southeastern Florida, Southern California, Boston, Austin, Nashville and London, along with additional properties in Miami, New York City and Washington, D.C.
