ESR has appointed Dalmar Sheikh as CEO of ESR Data Centers, effective Sept. 1.
Based in Singapore, Sheikh will lead ESR’s data centers business, with responsibility for its strategy, performance and next phase of growth. He will oversee the continued expansion of ESR’s digital infrastructure platform to meet increasing demand from hyperscalers and enterprise customers in Asia Pacific.
In his role, Sheikh will lead the execution of ESR’s data center strategy, advancing the development pipeline, deepening relationships with customers, investors, and industry stakeholders, and driving new growth opportunities and solutions for the platform. His appointment reflects ESR’s continued investment in leadership and capabilities as it scales its integrated real assets platform across Asia Pacific.
Sheikh brings more than 20 years of experience across data centers, digital infrastructure and technology. He joins ESR from CtrlS Datacenters, where he served as COO. P
