Equus Capital launches new real estate fund

Equus Capital Partners has launched Equus Investment Partnership XI, according to IREI’s FundTracker database. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

Equus Investment Partnership XI is a value-added real estate fund that will invest in U.S. office, industrial, multifamily and retail properties. The fund seeks to raise $500 million in total equity commitments.

The fund’s predecessor, Equus Investment Partnership X, held a $361 million final close in December 2016, exceeding the equity fundraising target of $300 million. Through Fund X, Equus Capital recently acquired The Rotunda, a four-story class A office building located in the SouthPark office submarket of Charlotte, N.C.
