Employees’ Retirement System of Hawaii commits $50m to CBRE U.S. value fund

The $16 billion Employees’ Retirement System of the state of Hawai’i (HIERS) has committed $50 million to the CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 9 fund, managed by CBRE Global Investors.

Opened in March, the limited partnership vehicle invests in central business district offices, industrial, logistics, multifamily and retail assets across the United States.

As of December 31, HIERS had $934 million real estate assets under management.
