Edmond de Rothschild acquires logistics property for core-plus fund

by Kali Persall

Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management has acquired a logistics property in the Netherlands on behalf of its core-plus European industrial real estate fund.

The property is made up of a small logistics asset, which has a lettable floor area of 8,500 square meters (91,493 square feet). The complex is located in Bleiswijk, south Holland, at the PRISMA business park. It is close to the A12 motorway that links The Hague and Utrecht and is fully let to a single tenant.

“This acquisition fits well within the fund’s strategy to acquire high quality logistics and light-industrial assets on well accessible and urbanized locations with excellent transportation links,” noted Rene de Heus, head of investment Benelux at Edmond de Rothschild REIM.

The open-ended Edmond de Rothschild Euro Industrial Real Estate Fund currently consists of 14 assets valued at €85 million ($92 million). The fund is domiciled in Luxembourg in the form of a FCP-RAIF.
