DWS appoints head of U.K. real estate investment group

DWS (formerly Deutsche Asset Management) has appointed Jessica Hardman as head of the real estate investment group in the United Kingdom.

Hardman will be responsible for driving the business, client base and products managed from the U.K. office under the new U.K. Group.

Having joined DWS in 2004, Hardman most recently led the U.K. real estate transactions team.

DWS has additionally appointed Michael Hill as head of real estate transactions, United Kingdom and Ireland. With 14 years’ experience, Hill joins from European real estate investment manager PATRIZIA, where he was a director in the investment team and involved in over £1 billion ($tk billion) of real estate transactions across the United Kingdom over the last four years.

Globally, DWS’s U.K.-based real estate business currently manages €6.7 billion ($8.2 billion) of capital on behalf of institutional investors and assets under management as of Sept. 30, 2017.
