Sheila Morgan-Johnson, executive director of the District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB), has announced her retirement after leading the fund since 2017.
She will step down from her role on March 26.
“I feel extremely grateful and privileged to have been able serve the people of the District of Columbia for nearly 30 years,” said Morgan-Johnson. “And I am particularly thankful for the opportunity to have served the members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Fund and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Fire Fighters’ Retirement Fund over that time.”
Morgan-Johnson served first as COO and then CIO for DCRB, which manages $10 billion in assets of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Fund and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Fire Fighters’ Retirement Fund.
