DFI has appointed Dipayan Chakraborty as managing director and head of capital markets.
Dipayan will be responsible for driving product development alongside partners and investment teams, leading on the capital-formation strategy of the business and executing on DFI’s strategic corporate-growth initiatives.
This appointment comes at an exciting phase for DFI’s Pan-European business with the firm targeting strategic growth across private U.K. and European real estate markets, focused on the continued creation of thematic platforms of scale and special situations. These will be in subsectors underpinned by structural macroeconomic trends and include DFI’s U.K. Techbox, Danish single family residential and Spanish living strategies.
