Denver Foundation seeks investment consultant

by Kali Persall

The Denver Foundation, Colorado's oldest and largest community foundation, is seeking an investment consultant firm to provide strategic direction and oversight of the foundation’s $587 million Long-Term Balanced (LTB) Pool and $133 million Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) Pool.

As of December 2018, the LTB Pool had a 17.8 percent allocation to private capital, which includes real estate.

The foundation launched a request for information (RFI), which called for applications for one or more nationally recognized investment consulting providers with experience working with community foundations or other nonprofit endowments. Interested firms may later receive a request for proposal (RFP).

The deadline to submit responses in Jan. 31.
