Deka Immobilien buys Amsterdam HQ for €556m

Booking Holdings, an American travel technology company, has plans to sell Booking.com’s future corporate headquarters in Amsterdam for €556.3 million ($590.6 million).

German real-estate investment firm Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH agreed to buy the Amsterdam campus.

Booking Holdings said it agreed to lease back the property for 16.5 years. The 53,000-square-meter (570,487-square-foot) campus is located on the Oosterdokseiland, in the heart of Amsterdam and within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station. It also includes an underground parking garage for 1,800 cars.

The newly constructed campus was expected to receive BREEAM Excellent certification
