Deka Immobilien has acquired a newly constructed ecommerce fulfillment center in the Paris region for approximately €160 million ($173 million).
Gemfi, the development arm of Gicram Group, is the seller, and established the building. The new building will be added to the portfolio of the Deka-ImmobilienEuropa open-end property fund.
The Tailor project completed in February 2024 at ZAC du Tertre de Montereau comprises 140,000 square meters (1.5 million square feet) of leasable space plus more than 1,200 car parking spaces, more than 60 HGV parking spaces and more than 170 bicycle parking spaces. It is leased to Zalando SE, a European ecommerce destination for fashion and lifestyle. The ecommerce provider plans to supply customers in France and the neighboring markets from this centralized logistics area with good motorway connections.
