The Davis Cos. has appointed Douglas Doughty as managing director of equity capital markets. Based in Davis’ New York City Office, Doughty is an important addition to the firm’s leadership team and will lead Davis’ equity fundraising and capital formation efforts, working closely with the company’s investor relations, investments and senior leadership team headed by CEO Stephen Davis.
Doughty brings more than 25 years of experience across real estate investment strategy, capital formation, portfolio management and institutional business development, serving most recently as managing director and head of strategy for real estate at Bain Capital. He previously held senior leadership roles at Fortress Investment Group and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
