The Davis Cos. has appointed Melissa Schrock to the newly created position of managing director of mixed-use development. Schrock will oversee Davis’ growing portfolio of mixed-use properties nationwide, supporting all project aspects including acquisition, entitlement and ground-up development.
Prior to joining Davis, Schrock served as the executive vice president of mixed-use development at HRP Group, where she led the firm’s expansion into the urban mixed-use space, supporting 5 million square feet of mixed-use and life sciences innovation projects across the country, including 776 Summer in Boston; a 19-acre site on the Potomac River in Alexandria, Va.; and the Innovation Campus at the Bellwether District in Philadelphia. She previously worked as vice president of development at Boston Properties and development manager at Samuels & Associates.
