CBRE Global Investors has appointed David Morrison as chief investment officer of the Americas.
Morrison, who has more than 25 years of real estate investment management experience, previously held positions as head of portfolio management–Americas and global head of strategy and research. In his new role, Morrison will be responsible across the Americas for creation and implementation of the investment strategy and for oversight of portfolio management, asset management, strategy and research, and performance management. Additionally, he will be responsible for the creation of new investment programs and client solutions.
Morrison is a member of the firm’s global executive committee, which oversees the business activities of the firm broadly, as well as a member of the global investment committee.
