Custodian Property Income REIT appoints David MacLellan nonexecutive director

David MacLellan has been hired as an independent nonexecutive director of Custodian Property Income REIT, a real estate investment trust for private and institutional investors seeking high, stable dividends from well-diversified U.K. real estate.

MacLellan also is expected to become chair of the company on Aug. 8, following the expected retirement of David Hunter.

MacLellan has more than 35 years of experience in private equity and fund management and an established track record as chair and non-executive director of public and private companies. MacLellan was previously an executive director of Aberdeen Asset Management and a nonexecutive director of Maven Income & Growth VCT 2. He is also the former chair and senior independent director of John Laing Infrastructure Fund and held chair positions at Stone Technologies, Havelock Europa and Britannic U.K. Income Fund.
