Joint selling agents Cushman & Wakefield and JLL have placed the Square Towncentre Tallaght, a 577,500-square-foot mall in Dublin, on the market for a controlling interest.
The sales price is €233 million ($277 million).
The 27-year-old shopping center registered approximately 22 million visitors in 2016. And it produced a rental income of €13.98 ($16.62 million). It is anchored by Tesco, Debenhams and Dunnes Stores and The Square.
The sale will include the controlling stake in the management company and 118 of the 160 stores as well as a cinema and six ATMS in the center. It will also include more than 2,400 car spaces.
During 2016 shopping centers in Dublin became the hottest sector of the market, according to CBRE. The total amount of retail investments was approximately €2.25 billion ($2.68 billion); however it is expected to decline in 2017.
